Those Announces that Demonoid added automatically a while ago I've been using them since as I was able at the time to download all my stuff back from the Demonoid server and get them all added to my torrents which was good for the old stuff as the old Demonoid ones were still there on the older torrents. I'm sure they use the coppersurfer one usually. I found that ages ago Demonoid were putting extra ones in their torrents so when you uploaded they added them automatically but then they stopped that after a while and I don't understand why they did that but where as TPB they just automatically use their own Announces. I'm not a huge expert when it comes to Announces. The Demonoid announce that they provide you with when uploading does nothing really and is usually inactive most of the time so at least something else instead like coppersurfer or something like that is better. It's good for putting your magnet on TPB and getting it out there for people to find but really having the Demonoid description available is a lot better. The sad thing about TPB not being able to put much of a torrent description which is why I don't usually bother with TPB. I managed to fit in the entire Star Trek franchise into there with all the screen dumps I did plus the covers and information about each movie and it all went in there it was quite good really. It's more like a forum so you can post up lots of pictures and big full description. It's purely down to the uploaders and having the better description field to use. Search engine on Demonoid seems to suffer at times with broken search controls but usually there's ways to figure it out if you press like certain things twice then they work also running in Linux makes Demonoid search engine buttons work properly then but in Windows they don't. I usually toggle the script blocker on and off like when logging in, switch off, then script blocker back on again before you do anything further then it's safe. Demonoid is very good once it's working but does require the use of Script and Ad blockers when you're browsing due to the dodgy scripts that end up on the site. They call Demonoid the come back kid cos usually it seems to bounce back from time to time due to having problems but yeah the only guy who fixes it is the owner and he trust nobody to do anything on there other than himself. Really dodgy stuff goes on with that scam site like stealing all sorts of information and it's definitely not to be trusted one bit avoid like your worst enemy. Whatever you do avoid it like the plague that scam one. Until it does if it's not then it's a scam site. ![]() Just waiting now for something to happen it could take weeks.
